The Caribbean 40 opens up a realm of possibilities ranging from long-range cruising to big-game fishing and living aboard. With curvaceous mouldings and stylish finishes, an accent on space, and our time-proven engineering and performance, there's actually not much that the Caribbean 40 can't do. No boat comes close to matching the volume of the Caribbean 40. The size and shape of the cockpit is designer for either the serious game fisherman or the family entertainer. Wide side-decks backed by handrails lead to the foredeck, where there's room to carry a life raft or tender. Up top, the flybridge has a fiberglass hardtop, twin helm chairs as well as lounges for the crew and family. A wide helm console with a moulded dash leaves ample room for the flush mounting of your electronics and radio communications whilst sits opposite the moulded sink unit with hot and cold water.
Three steps down is the port-side guest's cabin with full-length bunks, storage in drawers and lockers, and contemporary furnishings, which makes this the largest guest cabin of any 40 available. The owner's cabin in the bow has an island double bed, hanging locker, provision for television, and stylish finishes. There is ensuite access and a main door to the bathroom, which is moulded for easy cleaning. There's a separate shower stall, modern moulded vanity unit, vacuflush toilet and, of course, plenty of head and elbow room.
The saloon, has the room to host quite a party. Seating is on a big U-shaped lounge around a dinette on the portside and a lounge opposite. These seating areas can be converted into accommodation for four crew. The saloon also boasts a cocktail cabinet, 12V bar fridge, colour-coordinated curtains and pelmets and recessed LED downlights. The galley comes with enough bench space to handle a hungry crowd, a sink with flick mixer tap, eutectic fridge and separate deep freeze, convection microwave and 4 burner ceramic cooktop. Powered by 500hpQSC Cummins Diesels see the Caribbean 40 race to more than 30 knots. Across high seas, along the coast, cruising for views, or living aboard the Caribbean 40 takes it all in its stride. And does it with an air of sophistication.
